Stockholm and beyond

They open up the City Hall for tours, so you can see the inside as well as the outside.

We took a final visit to Sigtuna.

We had heard about the open house parties thrown by our neighbours, but we finally got to see one, you can guess from the beautiful painting what kind of art studio they run.

And we found one final rune stone hidden in the corner of a housing/industrial development by a small mission building.

Appropriately enough, some of the last pictures I took of Stockholm were of the sun setting over the city hall. The volcano in Iceland had given the sky an unusual richness.

As I have mentioned before, we have now moved from Stockholm. It was a wonderful city and a great experience. Next our adventures move to Andorra, where we will take a short break before moving on to yet more new adventures.

These are the final set of pictures I took as we were leaving Sweden. Sadly I was driving and couldn't get a picture of our actual final view, driving across the Malmo/Copenhagen bridge with the sun setting over Kastrup. Quite a scene.
